There truly is nothing like a summer road trip.

With the windows down, the wind running through your hair, and the sun on the dashboard, hitting the road with no strict schedule and an exciting destination up ahead has to be one of my favorite things in the world. Add good friends, snackage, and great music and there is nowhere else I’d rather be. Beaches, mountains, big cities, or #bustedbiscuittours, give me a time and a place and let’s make it happen.

It’s been a little over a month since the ladies and I went to the beach, but in a couple of weeks I’ll be on my way to Candler Park Music Festival and then I’ll be ready to plan the next trip! Summer activities always involve pool days, river floats, and movie nights with friends, but I try to plan my life around concerts and out-of-town adventures. Spending so much time in my car, I like to accessorize. Here are my current road trip accessories I’m crushing on.

Favorite Things Summer Roadtrip

Car Accessories

Natural Life Car Coasters $7.50  | I have the ‘Do more of what makes you happy’ coaster, but I’ve got my eye on the ‘Pray more worry less’ one as well as the (currently out of stock ) ‘Live by the sun/Love by the moon’ duo.

Ankit Feather Air Freshener  $6.99 | I love all the Natural Life car accessories but I’m really digging this multi-feather berry visor air freshener from Ankit. Hippy vibes and summer time scents.

Butterfly SunShade $13.05 | Okay, so I don’t neeeeeeedddd this. I have a basic dollar sunshade, but isn’t this adorable?!? It would totally match my car. I’m just saying. Love Potion Tumbler $14.00  | Obsessed with everything after stumbling upon my favorite ‘I’m Very Busy’ planner at Swoozies in Atlanta. I LOVE this Love Potion tumbler. I’ve talked myself out of buying in on a couple of occasions but I’m afraid if there’s a third time it will be a charm and the tumbler will be mine.

No trip is complete with out a modern mix tape or two. A few of my favorite playlists include my tunes of a quarter life crisis, Spotify’s Indie Roadtip, my Blood Donor Playlist, and Spotify’s Indie Chill> Covers. Follow me on Spotify to see more of what I’m listening to.

Every road trip needs snacks. My favorite things for guilt-free munching include Naked drinks and (quite a few handfuls of) Boom Chicka Pop.

Favorite summer road trip snacksI usually carry a reusable, filtered water bottle with me everywhere, but if I want some good hearty flavor while I travel to boost energy and attitude I always grab a Naked: Green Machine. Apples, banana, kiwi, mango, and pineapple, broccoli, spinach, kale, and more. Full of natural sugars and energy.

Full disclosure, the only reason I bought Boom Chicka Pop. to begin with was the bright, bold branding, but I was hooked as soon as I tried it. Delicious sweet and salty kettle corn with four simple ingredients and GMO-free. It sounds and tastes too good to be true. It’s not. It’s like healthy crack that’s only one Target trip away. The nommmsss.
