Before I dive into my own goals, let me share some plans of my friends, the Wehunts. Stephanie and her family are embarking on an adoption journey and would love for you to follow along at The Wehunts Complete-ly. Let’s support them in prayer and encouragement. You can also purchase one of the stylish tee’s she designed to help cover the adoption fees here. That little one has no idea what a wonderful, loving family is awaiting him or her.

For my goals and plans. Well, let’s just say I’m going to embrace grace. I didn’t even make goals for March. I’m human. And that’s the magic of tomorrows. I get to try again.

My early morning habits were not as set in stone as I would like to admit, but I did dive into the She Reads Truth Lenten study as well as begin a new study on Joshua. I’m also starting Seek: 21-day devotional of prayer & fasting.

I’m afraid I have to stop visiting book stores because my reading list keeps growing and growing. I finished The Best Yes, Make It Happen, and 7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess. If you haven’t purchased them already I’m not sure what you are waiting for. They are amazing! Now my list has grown to: A Hunger for God, Interrupted, Boundaries, Mere Christianity, and Brain on Fire. If you have read any of them let me know what you think! I don’t know where I want to start!

Though I could have done better with gym attendance, the weeks I slacked off there I found some HIIT exercises online and knocked out some workouts at home. I’ve also been eating healthy all month. Excuse the three boxes of Girl Scout Cookies on my counter -those don’t count. I’m going to try to keep groceries full of veggies and lean proteins while sticking to under $100 a month. It’s harder than it sounds… Coupons are definitely coming back.

And speaking of money, I’ve stuck to this YNAB budgeting thing pretty well. I sat down and discussed goals and action plans with a local financial adviser and now I have a better idea of what to do and when. I have some pretty hefty plans coming up and I’ve got to cut spending and really buckle down on saving. So this summer my activities will involve free or cheap things like pools and Netflix movies.  I see a lot of river floats in my future. Feel free to invite me or join in on the affordable festivities.

These goals might not seem like much but I’m building a foundation for many more things to come. I can’t really get into all of that right now though. Stick with me. It’s going to be a great year!

Intentionally yours,
